Sun Media's eight urban daily newspapers rank either first, or second, in its market, in terms of paid circulation and through its subsidiary community newspaper partner, Bowes Publishers Ltd. reach 196 weekly newspapers, weekly shopping guides and agricultural and other specialty publications, including seven free daily commuter publications - 24 Hours in Toronto, Vancouver 24 Hours, 24 Heures in Montreal, 24 Hours in Ottawa and 24 Heures in Ottawa-Gatineau, 24 Hours Calgary and 24 Hours Edmonton. Combined, the daily news publications boast a cumulative circulation, as of December 31, 2006, of 6.6 million copies, and the total average weekly circulation of the publications in the Community Newspapers is approximately 3.0 million free copies and approximately 619,400 paid copies per year.

Jobboom'a alliance with Sun Media allows local employers and job seekers a more comprehensive recruitment solution that utilizes print and online advertising. Through the portal, advertisers and jobseekers can access career management tools or use industry-leading search tools that connect pre-qualified candidates to employers.

The White Label Sites utilize the analytic tools of Omniture SiteCatalyst, to provide actionable, real-time site traffic and visitor behaviour data.

An internal audit of clicks on several white label sites over the past two months has revealed a job seeker search trend that differs per province. Each of our regional White Label sites are co-branded with a Sun Media newspaper, and the job categories are customized for each newspaper on each home page.
